I have been afforded the privilege of reading a new novel by Christopher Graves. Sinner, which was just released on April 5th, is a great story. I’ll just start with that. I am not going to give anything away, I promise. I just wanted to put my thoughts out there on what I think about this book.
So, I received this book from Smith Publicity. I was apprehensive about reading it because I really just don’t read fiction novels too much. I usually read true crime if I’m going to read a full-on novel. I would say Stephen King has always been the exception. However, in my efforts to broaden my horizons, as I think we all should, I decided to give it a go.
The only thing bad about this book so far, is that life gets in the way and I have to stop reading it to take care of adult responsibilities and well, sleep.
I’m about halfway through the book and I am absolutely loving it. I like the fact that the story spans over a long period of history and the characters are very unique. This story has a way of creeping into your mind and sticking there. It has suspense and action and is a real page turner.
Christopher Graves has a great ability to draw pictures in your mind with his extensive vocabulary, letting you jump right into the front row and observe the action at hand. Every chapter offers new insight into the depravity of the killer and the terror unleashed of his victims.
If you get the chance, I highly recommend picking this up. It has actually renewed my interest in fiction and opened a whole new area for me to explore.
